My word on your lips

by Kate Kayuda   Sep 16, 2006

The sun is grey
From the other side of the road

Years have gone by
Making clouds softer

A safer journey
Through a new day

New carpet
For you to stand on your knees
A little bit of dirt
On the new shiny surface
Won`t hurt you once again

A drop of happy tears
On your blushing cheeks
Can warm you

Slow strain of water
On your dry lips
To recover you from pain

Make a fresh start
For this hour of joy

Stands and prices
Are fading away
As you wish so

The moon wont blind you
Its there for you to be amazed

Clear fountain of life
Can wash away your worries

I put my word on your lips
