I went for a dance with Jesus

I went for a dance with JESUS

He took me through despair

He showed me all the hurting

And healing we both declared

He spun me around the fields of joy

Where happiness abounded

And like a child's favourite toy

I was absolutely astounded

We skipped on through the valley of fear

And leaped with triumphant cheers

This was the first time through the valley

That my eyes weren't full of tears

We tapped our way across the bridge

That held the peoples worry

And with delight we saw the fright

As the devil began to scurry

Then He took me to a place of doubt

Where my image of him grew weak

I looked around from where I was

Then realised it was a time to seek

Shortly after he danced towards me

With love shining from his eyes

You knock, you seek and you will find

I will always answer your cries

Time for another place he said

With such a soft request

He whisked me off from this place of doubt

And brought me to the best

We danced around, laughing with joy

As our time had been much fun

And as we danced up the hill of love

We came to a place called 'DONE'

Jesus sat me at his feet

And smiled into my heart

He took me by the hand

And told me we'd never be apart

It's what I've done for you my love

That can never be forgotten

How I gave my life to see you here

Without all the Un-Godly fear!!

One last thing He said to me with beauty in his eyes

He lifted me up from the ground and took my hands in His

He danced with me an unexplainable dance that made my heart explode

'I love you with all my heart' he whispered
