For Sigrid

by molly   Sep 18, 2006

As the sun rises into the summer mist and chlorine lingers in my hair, I will see you there

As the leaves fall to the ground and echo crunches from under my feet, I will see you there

As the snow covers the hills and I sit with sled poised in hand, I will see you there

As the flowers arise from the earth and the sun sets low in the west, I will see you there

And as the years go by and as I change and grow, I will see you there, as clear as the notes you once sang, I will see you there, my beautiful.
