Time's Collateral

by Shane   Sep 18, 2006

I could make out an image
from this site
a long star
amongst the night
We, too
are made of this
two missing parts
short of one kiss
I'll lay a foundation
up in the sky
so when you're ready
together we'll fly
Is it selfish
to know how I feel
a girl, like you
so ideal
Perfect piece
you fit so fine
and when you smile
I wish it were mine
Slowly I tread
I hope your aware
even with this
mask I wear
All this and more
will prove hence
this love of mine
I can't condense
And if you find
that time is rough
or if you think
you've longed enough
My lips crave
deliverance
bought only by
your audience
