IMPERFECT PERFECTION

by blÃœE E¥ëd tëärs   Sep 18, 2006

She lies in bed
&& cries at night
astonished by what they said
too fat, too big, too b-tchy, too thick
this all causes her to be sick
they All tell her shes pretty beautiful and fine
if only it wasnt such a line
too many things all at once
make her feel like shes wearing a dunce
forget the negative its your life to live
well the bad overruns the positive
they all forget shes human too
looks of hers come a few
her beauty, her brains, her laughter, and smile
it all makes her presence more worth while
as they bring her down
she tries not to frown
breaking the wall
but who would want to see
this astounding beauty fall
they just cant let her be
the envy, the hate, the lies, the look
the stares and the snickers thats all it took
they run through her head
like movie reels
lying in her bed
no one could imagine how she feels
with her temptations she has to fight
as she cries to herself to sleep
once again tonight
