An empty chair at every Table

by stephanie   Sep 19, 2006

Sometimes i sit while your memory collides
pictures framed all over the room
i stare into the eyes of the one who never said goodbye
if i was suposed to be ready for this please tell me why
i dont want to hear it, im just going to cry
your life was taken at such a fragile time
my heart covers an empty whole where your memory remains
i sit and see the empty chairs at all the tables and it feels so plain
please sing me a lullaby so i can fall asleep tonight
you were the inspiration and the beauty in my life
but now i feel like my whole world just died
i never would have figured id meet someone so perfect in my life
one who could make me laugh and cry all at the same time
i never will forget the day God took you away
but if i listen closely i can hear your beautiful guitar play

there is no goodbye, just see you later
i will remmeber you matthew
