We lost you

My feelings for you feel from my heart like the tears from my face.
all my respect for you was lost, when you chose the drug over us.
you've said things that killed me on the inside
i know the drug created those words but still........you said it.
what happened to the mother i loved so much?
the one who knew where every sock and undie was?
the one who knew the solution to everything?
what happened to you?
before we were just losing you, there was some hope in saving you.
but now that hope is gone.
we lost you.
we lost you to the drug.

    Aww. If you ever need to talk, I'm here. I've been througha a lot, and even losing a close family member. I hope you're not too broken up about it. =)

    Anyways, back to the poem. It was so sad. =( It made me think of a few of my friends, and how they use drugs. It's no excuse for them to say anything like they do, but they do. I thought your choice of words was great, and added a lot to the poem. =) 5/5 xoxo
