An emptiness lurking in the air
A warmth removed from existence
Words never spoken
Remaining
Unchangeable

A figure from a memory's glare
A shadow seen by no one else
Angered at a life
Remaining
Unchangeable

A flashback catching a mind in a snare
A reality fading into the past

And a person
Walking away
Just walking

Remaining
Unchangeable
