Lately the past is all she's been thinking about

Lying her bed a young girl is, no older then 16 she lays there and looks up at her ceiling, wonder if her first love ever misses what they had, or if she's just been buried in his past of mistakes and lies, she turns over and try's to ignore the tears but she can't help but think of him, she closes her eyes for a split second and tears starts to come down from what use to be, she then opens them, and starts to remember old memories of them two, sometimes she finds her self wishing to be back in his arms safe and sound, but others she just shrugs it off and goes on as if it's okay to feel the way she feels, she try's so hard to make people see that she really isn't happy but they don't see past her perfect fake smile, because over the past 5 months they've grown to think she's happy but no one really knows what she does in bed at night and who holds her own head up high when there's no one around to wipe away her tears
