Abandonned once more

She feels abandonned once again
this time is the very last
she used to put up with it
but that was in the past

a new person emerges
from the shell of this girl
let the seas start to rage
and the wind start to whirl

as she snaps back at the hurt
and gains back her power
to speak and let her opinion be heard
in this one final hour.

"you have betrayed my trust
for the very last time
so take the punishment
the whipping for your crime"

she screamed it to the skies
as a tear glided down her cheek
why does she always cry
when all she wants to do is speak

speak of her life
and speak of her soul
like they could somehow help
and give her back some control

the "friends" that have hurt
will be the friends that are lost
as she walks away from her problems
no matter how great the cost

she could learn to be a loner
to only trust herself
to speak of her feelings to no one
but that could bring no help

will she forgive the two that hurt her so?
or let them slip away
this is the dilemma she faces
but will she save it for another day?
