Empty hope

Can you save me
from myself........
from the loneliness that haunts me
devouring everything happy in my life
stealing every glimpse of hope that i hold dear
taking me deeper into the darkness that is my reality
the reality that no one sees but me
a reality filled with pain and suffering,
odious creatures lurking in the depths of my perception
slowly altering my personality to suit their satisfaction
making me a void,
a empty hole,
filled with nothing but sadness.
maybe you can't save me.........no one can,
i am lost in the darkness,
too far gone to be reached,
all your words of comfort fall on deaf ears,
you don't understand,
don't pretend you do,
you're just like everyone,
only difference is ........i love you.
