Mother Nature

by Papoose   Sep 22, 2006

I got a $250,000 personality
I got another quarter mill mentality
I’m in a $500,000 mood
I can’t loose
Damn I feel like a million dollars!
How can I rap about my life and claim honor?
When people out in N.O don’t have water
I dedicate this to the sons that lost fathers
A tribute to the mothers that lost daughters
Cuz they puff chemical fumes into the atmosphere
They push toxic fumes into the atmosphere
They even launch aircraft into the atmosphere
They keep this up; something’s going to happen here
Mother nature got to clean her frame
So she forms a cyclone full of winds and rain
This process has a name; it’s called cleaning the atmosphere
The government calls it a hurricane.

They say gods going to tumble the water
But when the tsunami happened in troublesome water
The president didn’t hesitate to cross that border
He took a whole army with him when he came to war
But when he traveled to New Orleans he came with his dog
Is he indirectly trying to call us dogs?
Or is he just traveling with his pet? I’m not sure
When a grown man cry, how pitiful it is
His whole house spit in half, nowhere to live
He said he held my wife’s hand, I tried I did
But she let go and said take care of the kids
A lot of property was lost crushed by the trees
Evacuated the city they was forced to leave
They was forced out they homes they would never leave
So why the media keep calling them refugees

Natural disasters look at the aftermath
They use it as an excuse to raise the price of gas
We worry about things like getting the last laugh
Your mind state is half assed
Everybody wants to get the last laugh
But when someone dies cuz, the laugh never comes last dog the cries does
People searching for food, they call it looting
Marshal law, the cops shooting
So now hungry people on the run
They say this ain't a time to point fingers
Tell em this isn’t the time to point guns
Niggas donating money that’s thug love
But people dying over there, donate some blood
I don’t mean physically I mean spiritually
Donate some of your time out, lyrically
Make a song that can reach someone seriously
People who lost their life, your living though me
