My Mother

by Sarah   Sep 22, 2006

When I was a child, if I fell
My mother would always make me well
She would wipe away my tears
Put my hair behind my ears
Tell me that everything was alright
And then she would hold me tight

If I was feeling sad
My mother would always make me glad
She would make me laugh and smile
Hold me close for a while
She would make jokes and tickle me
So much, that in the end I had to go pea

The time flew by, now I\\\'m older
My world is just getting colder
My mother is gone, so is her smile
Without her I feel so fragile
I want her to watch over me always
Feels like she only was here a few days
