I never cut for attention
It was only mere depression
Thought I ought to mention
This before I die

I used to hide from everything
I was too shy and cared
That I know I meant nothing
And that is why I cried

I screamed for life
I cried for death
I used the knife
For sometimes I do regret

Sometimes you need to feel
Something else than reality
It calms you down, It went to heal
But you wouldn't understand

When you try to understand
Something you don't know about
It starts to turn into a demand
That's not helping at all

So forget what you know
Learn the person from the inside
But remember, never letting go
For one mistake, is all it takes

Don't act like you care
You've actually got to be true
You have got to be there
And never leave when it gets hard

These people aren't meant to die
For they will die, when it is time
This could be a lie
But how would you know?

Exactly, you don't
So you've got to trust
And if you won't
You aren't getting anywhere
