Choices Against Love

Life is a swirling cloud of death.
Filled with marijuana and meth.
It fills your lungs.
You take the fall.
It makes you feel
like a phone call.
it rings and rings.
It fills your head
with the thoughts of
worry and dread.
The changing set of thoughts you write,
might comfort you throughout the night.

Take out the feeling
take out emotion.
You feel the rock
of the violent ocean.
It tosses you
around and round,
and then throws you
on the hard ground.
You feel your body
sink down and down
till you see
no trace of town.
Or like a train
off the tracks.
It runs you over,
over your back.

In a coma
slipping away.
Breathe your last breath;
then fall away.

Life can take you
away from here,
but love can't fall
but bring you near.
You take your life
and throw it away,
and hope to see
that final day,

You can't believe
that you won't die.
You can still think,
but you will cry.
Car crash, abuse,
neglect, and shots.
You can think that
it kills your thoughts.

You make attempts
to exit soon,
but your lover
will save you soon.

The cloud of death
with love involved,
makes the giant
problem solved.

So, find the one.
It makes you stronger.
Having love will
last you longer.
