And With This Drink I Say "I Do"

by Brooke Amity   Sep 23, 2006

I take another mouthful
Out of this chilled glass.
I'm becoming increasingly cheerful,
And losing a little class.

You are starting to look good to me
And you never did before.
You have a cute butt that I couldn't see,
When you walked in the door.

My friends have noticed I'm keen,
And they have a good old giggle.
Then they say something mean,
But it bothers me only a little.

Our laughs are getting louder,
And your eyes keep fixing on me.
You prove to be a real charmer,
And tell myself "We'll see."

Suddenly we are alone,
And you tell me I look hot.
But my stomach empties with a groan,
I shouldn't have had that last shot!
