Dear God
Do you know who I am?
And if you do
Why arent you my friend?
I aim to be good
I swear, I really do
What have I done,
That is so bad to you?
I help with my family,
Im nice to people I meet,
But now I have questions
And answers I seek
I come to you begging,
Please, why do I live in pain?
Why is my life torment?
And so many other peoples the same?
When will you give my brother
The break he really deserves?
For him to be able to relax,
God, he is on his own nerves.
Why is my best friend miserable?
Dieing from within
What has she done that is so bad
Please explain the awful sin
Why is my mother so sick?
She has lost so much weight,
Is her illness caused by me
And one of my mistakes?
Are people suffering for things
They have done by themselves?
Or is it like Eve with the Apple
Punishment for her and everyone else?
