Empty space

by forgetmenot   Sep 24, 2006

Nothing could fill,
this emptiness inside
so I ate nothing
in an attempt to hide,

Because what good,
does food do?
just makes more sadness,
grow inside of you

where as staving,
overrides the pain,
I keep my hunger close,
in an attempt to stay sane.

This is a really good poem. it gives such valid explanation of starvation, but in a much nicer format than just words.
