Watching

by Lanaia Lee   Sep 24, 2006

I have no right to stalk you and watch you as I do
But I just can't help myself, you are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
You know nothing of me, to me you haven't a clue
You, your beauty, I want to make you my queen.

I'm not a king, but if I had I would treat you like a queen
But you would have to die and be reborn again
But I hesitate because this move I know you wouldn't deem
I don't want to be the one that to hell your soul I would send.

A creature of the night, a sickening being of the undead
I really don;t want to b responsible for doing that to you
I don't want to be responsible for that unquenchable thirst that constantly must be fed
If you become like me your choices are so very few.

I have a problem, I am greedy as far as you are concerned
I am always trying to convince myself this kind of life wouldn't be right for you
I have existed for many years and so many things I have learned
So I know what I feel for you is true.

So here I stand in the shadows, as I have decided, watching you for the very last time
I try to be quiet as I follow you so close
You are within my reach, I must try and be as silent as a mime
I finally get up my nerve, taking you in my arms, I inflict the deadly bite, and I watch as you as slowly your eyes close.
