Remember the day of august 11.
The day that I last saw you.
You had a smile so big.
A smile that meant you�re okay.
You opened your arms and said
I love you. I missed you
Then I did the same.
We laughed we smiled maybe
Even fought ; but made up
By the end of the day
I asked why you had a bag
You said you were going to
A party. You said it was
Mikes 21 birthday I asked
You if there�d be alchol
There you told me yes
But you wouldn�t drink it
You told me remember our
Promise. I said yes.
And then we said good bye
We gave our hugs.
Once again you said you loved me
I said I�ll see you next summer.
That fatefull night I got a call
From your dad. He said you
Were hurt. He said he was sad.
I was scared I didn�t know
What to do. So I got to
The hospital as fast as I could
He only told me you had a
Seizer and would be fine for
The rest of the night.
I said I�m leaving tomorrow
Can I go back home.
He told me you wouldn�t die;
So I got on that plane.
Scared out Of my life.
About a week later on august 16
He told me my sister passed away
I was shocked. And couldn�t breathe
I asked him how. He said that seizer
Killed you.
I cried and cried. But I couldn�t
Believe him.
A seizer can�t just kill
There had to be a reason.
Almost 3 weeks later
He called me again. He
Said he must tell me the truth
. for a second I was excited
I thought he was going to
Tell me you were alive
Then he told me the
Story that wrecked me life
He said that you drank
And you drove home with
Some friends.
He said yes the seizer was
True. But the cause
Was from the crash
Your brain couldn�t make
It through the night.
They just had to pull the cord.
I was lost I was scared.
But most of all hurt
Hurt that my sister lied to me
Promised me she you would
Never drink. What happened to that?
i still miss you.
Even though you�ve done wrong
And I want you to know
I�m completely against drinking now
My heart aches for you. I want
You back more and more everyday
What were you thinking
What went on.
Did you know the lord was gonna
Take you. The night you went away
Did you see your life flash before your eyes
But ; most of all
did you hear me say I love you.
