Pain

by Katlyn   Sep 24, 2006

Sitting home and wondering
How she ever loved him
How she ever let him
Hold her when she was hurt
Even after he hurt her
And beat her everyday
Made her bleed and shed those tear
He soon lived to regret.
He always threw things at her
And always called her names
She would run and hide herself
In the room again
She\'s cry those tears he ment her to cry
She\'d curl up and let them out
And then he\'d come and apoligize
And she\'s always apoligize back.
Except that one faithful night
When things went alittle to far
He saw her with his friend
And she was smiling and glad
He mistook what she was feeling
And beat her really bad
As she layed there on the floor
And cried the tears she cried
He came back and hit her again
He grabbed her by the hair
And ran her into a wall
She grabbed the vase and hit him
In the face
SHe got the corage to run
Even with her battered body
Her soul was stong and determined
To get him back this once
She went to the kitchen and picked up the phone
And dialed those three numbers
He stabbed her from behind
Making her drop the phone
He just kept hitting, hitting, and hitting until she couldn\'t stand
She screamed and she cried
For him to stop
Just that very last time
Before she took that knife
She stabbed him back
And caused him pain
For that very first night
He lay there holding his bleeding leg
And wondering where he went wrong
The sierens screamed outside the house
And the police officers rushed in
The medics came and took them away.
He was sent to jail and never returned
And she hoped she\'d never feel
The pain he caused when he hurt her ever never again.
