Goodbye

I lost it all when i said goodbye to you,
But deep down i knew it was something i had to do.
Its true that I'm still in love with you,
But what could i do after all the stress i went through.

Everyone hated that we were together,
But somehow i felt it would last forever.

They played with my last nerve
And that was something i didn't deserve.
You said there was nothing that you could do
So goodbye was all I could say to you.
It was not something that I wanted to do,
Because i honestly meant it when i said "i loved you".
