This is our world

by claerwen   Sep 25, 2006

I look outside my window,
a whole new world is born.
One where war is expected,
and discrimination is the norm.
I take a breath before turning,
to see what my mother had found.
And seeing my sisters body; bloody, laying on the ground.
For she had been caught and shot down.
I cant cry when i she that she was found,
my breath is short and my heart starts to pound.
my family is dying.
because this world was born again.
To a place where war is expected,
and discrimination is the norm.
