My kids.

by Vonnie McHugh   Sep 26, 2006

My kids I had six,
So I know all the tricks,
When they were all so small,
I'm so glad I had them all.

Some days when they were bad,
They would nearly drive me mad,
When nighttime came and they were fast asleep,
I creep into their rooms to peep.

Six little angels in their beds,
I gave a kiss on all six heads,
I was so glad they were all mine,
They would be with me till the end of time.

One by one they all left home,
And I find myself all alone,
But I am never lonely or sad,
As my memories are full of joy and make me glad.
