Close Your Eyes and Find Your Beauty

by Jennifer Wichard   Sep 26, 2006

Where is your happiness if the sunshine kissing your face has no meaning or a gentle breeze which whispers your name causes malaise. The effortless laughter of a child goes unnoticed because it will not bring you closer to your dream. The miracle of life does not prompt a thought, and the beauty of nature is a gift meant not for you.

Who are you if your empty heart continues to ache even while you sleep? Your dreams are not filled with a sense of peace because they are laced with your need for direction. Even as they wake you night after night, you are quick to forget that it was not a nightmare, but your soul shaking you and screaming for help.

Those who love you can feel no love in return. When you are with another, you are still very much alone, because in your mind, you truly do not exist. You are an enigma and can take on many forms depending on what mirage you choose to create. You do have inner beauty but you will not find it for you remain content in your lost state.

Please close your eyes and find your beauty.
