Thankyou.

Your back turns on me with such coldness
with such malice,
That I shiver at our ultimate demise

Your secrets hold so much poison
So much toxic disregard,
That I find it difficult to breathe

Your lies are sharp like knives
Piercing my flesh so abruptly,
Pinning me to our impending doom

Your falsness imposes itself upon me
Hitting me with such force,
That I fall to the ground appalled and yet relieved
By our unfortunate end

Your deception breaks apart my spirit
Like broken shards of glass,
That threaten to expose my bleeding heart

Despite all this I thank you
Your damage is merely temporary
You may have won the battle but I have won the war

So I thank you because
These bruises will fade,
Like my memories of you
These gashes will heal,
Only scars of you will remain
These tears will dry,
Only their invisible path will stay

All this will make me stronger,
Will bring me closer to REAL love
And all the things I deserve that
You could have never given me

Thankyou.
