Stalker

All alone
Dead as night
I wait there til
The time is right.
To begin the hunt
And stalk my prey
Wait for dawn
So I can hide away.
A teenage girl
Walking all alone
Down an alley
I watch her go.
Close behind
Walking near
But not to be seen
I grab her arms
And bite her neck
And listen for
The very last breath
There she lay
On the cold hard ground
And I wonder if
She ever did wrong
