Give me the truth

I read some poems
and they make me smile
I think of you
and it takes awhile
to finally kick in
that you really love me
it took me so long
to finally see

But when I go back
and read some lines
that you have written
I saw the signs
that you loved someone else
with all of your heart
and what does that leave me
just a section of a part

How can you divide it
your love I mean
How can i feel truly loved
after all I've seen
I saw poems to girls
saying many things
things I have heard
and the feelings it brings

I really do love you
and I hope you feel the same
I need to learn to trust
and know its not a game
there is no winner
and no loser as well
where does that leave me
In a living hell

Who's to say
you don't love me back
If I ever found out
my heart would crack
I guess there's somethings
that I don't need to hear
But I would rather know
and see things clear

Do you love me or not?
how can I tell?
Do I need to cry
Or maybe yell
I love you so much
It's beginning to hurt
I'm alone over here
and I know your a flirt

If this is going to work
We both need to try
tell me what you think
and please don't lie
I guess you don't notice
but this is how I get
I cant really explain it
but it started when we met

No offense is meant
by this poem what-so-ever
I just needed to say it
and I thought this was clever
When I see you again
I hope you realize
That there's a bit of sadness
Hidden deep in my eyes
