Rage's Crusade

by AshLetitia   Sep 28, 2006

As Mam slumbers, deep as the ocean,
Rage's quest goes underway,
Heat filled with wondrous emotion,
Journey to the valley, beyond the gateway.

But the valley, is no paradise,
Guardians and witchfolk are darkness,
Rage soon comes to realise,
The magnitude of it's harshness.

In volume to her, the wind does speak,
As it whooshes past her ears,
Moments of fear, her knees go weak,
For Mam, Rage fights back her tears.

Based on the novel:
Billy Thunder and the Night Gate,
By Isobelle Carmody.

Please note that Rage is a character, not an emotion, in this case.
