All who loved you will love you still

(In memory of my aunt)

Tears could fall and hearts could break
You're far away in a better place.
For when I learned of your pain,
I wished you strength for wellness gain
I felt your hurt from my mothers eyes
And wished you power, the power to rise
But news soon came that it had spread,
For we all know, you might soon be dead
With life comes death and we all knew,
Your day has come and we must let go.
You lay in bed swollen with pain
I hear you suffer, and I hear you cry
I hear of news you lay in bed to die
With every second we all held on
Till one last minute, then you're gone
But the world you left, was a hurtful place
I am glad you went, for you suffered so
Now you are gone, but I know you knew
All who loved you will love you still.
