I'm sorry
But you seem so fake.

I'm skimming over your titles
And feeling not appealed
To read your poetry.

I'm sorry, but you seem so fake.

The words are spilling out
Poetically, and prettily.
You proclaim you're not "an open book"
But dear
I almost think you are.

It sounds to me you try to hard
To make it look
Like you're not trying.
But to me you look pathetic
I don't want to hear about all your crying.

I'm sorry,
But you seem so fake.

I read your phony headers
And the proclamation of all the pain
You like to pretend you feel.

I'm sorry, but you seem so fake.
