Book Of Love

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Sep 29, 2006

We stood under the shade of a tree,
In the yard surrounding the building.
I looked into your eyes, and asked you,
What is her name?
You looked at me with a downcast glance,
And turned away.
God, if it had been me.
But it isn't.
Ever since I can remember,
I have loved you.
But, you don't love me back.
And, maybe, in a couple of years I can laugh at the fact,
That I loved someone who would never be mine.
Because, he was never mine to begin with.
And if you think that I will be miserable,
Yes, I will be.
It will hurt a lot.
And my love story will remain incomplete.
But, do me a favor?
Please, complete your love story, for me.
Go out and find the girl that makes you as happy,
As you make me.
Go discover how it feels to be in love,
And when your love story is complete,
Your chapter in my book will be complete too.
But, turn away, now, because our chapter has diminished.
There is no more you and me.
Give me one more hug, one more kiss,
And then leave me forever.
Just leave.
