Leave (The Ring)

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Sep 29, 2006

If you want to leave, that's fine by me.
Go, but don't ask me to wait.
Take care of yourself,
Because I won't,
But don't ask for your ring back.
That's the one thing I can't give you.
You see, you can take away everything.
Your love, your heart, your soul,
But you can't take away the memories.
So go ahead, leave and take your heart with you.
But you can't have your ring back.
Not until you take away every memory,
That I've had, have, and will have of you.
You can't have your ring until you take away,
Every tear, every hug, every kiss,
Take away the passion that I live on,
And then you can have your ring.
Until then, I'll keep my memories,
My cries, my tears,
And I'll keep my ring.
