a brightness hit my dark room which was this poem by a great poet.

Should it read:
"I feel like I have the world"
or
"I felt like I had the world"

or maybe it wasn't an error and that was the way you wanted it.

"I felt like I have the world,"
The verb tense changes so it sounds weird....that's the only thing!
