The Last Breath

by Daniel Rutter   Sep 29, 2006

It's here,
I can feel it.
It's swirling around me,
I think its you.

I can here your presence,
smell your fear.
But although you are afraid,
you want to be here.

I can feel your hand,
gently slipping into mine.
And although I can't see you,
I know you are here.

Losing breath,
I close my eyes.
Is it to late?
So close to death.

I want to hold you,
but to feel you here is enough.
As i slip into the darkness,
I know I'll be with you always.

My last breath,
my last words.
My last feelings,
I Love You.
