She was so Brave.

by Vonnie McHugh   Sep 29, 2006

My Mum was always there,
Whatever we had to share,
She gave her life for us,
Never causing any fuss.

The day she told us she was ill,
Twas like tasting a bitter pill,
Over five long years.
We shed so many tears.

She never did complain,
Of all that pain,
She was always full of cheer,
Whenever we were near.

Into the night she drifted,
Up wards her soul was lifted,
Her pain was over and done,
Her life somewhere else had just begun.
