Angels Die

by Yishai Bloch   Sep 30, 2006

If you ask me once, I may just lie.
If you ask me twice, I'll say I'd die.
If you ask me thrice, I'll say that I've seen angels die.

It's a place not uncommon,
Not far so too speak,
It's a moment forgotten,
It's a day of the week

It's a single second now,
If you look hard you'll see,
It's a moment when heaven,
Cries out to be free.

It's the beginning and end,
All on it's own,
It's a pleasure forgotten,
Forbidden for all.

It's a juncture in time,
And a moment in space,
It's the air that you breathe,
It's the lips that you taste.

It's a feeling as though,
You've lost all hope,
It's like heaven looks down,
And deliver one final blow.

It's a moment for you,
And you know you've lost,
It's when someone says,
Goodbye, I wish you luck.

It's in this moment,
If you look very close,
You'll see an angel,
Cry out in tears.

If you ask me once, I may just lie.
If you ask me twice, I'll say I'd die.
If you ask me thrice, I'll say that I've seen angels die.
