Sprung

by Marcus   Sep 30, 2006

When I'm writing, I think of her - the source of my inspiration.
I write these poems to make known the level of my appreciation.
I think about this girl, every step that I take and every breath I make;
I feel like without her I cannot inhale or exhale.
When it comes to making me happy...in that she excels.
It’s like she uses magic she must use the best spells.
She uses a lot of magic, like some kind of wizard-
I remember my heart was cold like a blizzard.
Now she has me feeling really warm with her affection.
It’s too good to be true; she is so close to reaching perfection.
I wonder how she works her magic to keep me feeling so ecstatic,
She is beyond beautiful and far beyond gorgeous.
No word is good enough to describe her in the dictionary or thesaurus,
When she is around me my stomach begins to contract,
My heart pounds in my chest and makes an immense impact.
I become nervous and forget what I wanted to say,
But since she is around, it really doesn't matter anyway.
How she makes me feel is just too real to hide,
She is the reason that my mind is always occupied.
She is so amazing; the reason for my fascination,
That’s why I must make her mine with no procrastination.
She is also the reason that I feel what love is like, though I'm young,
And the reason why I am similar to a mattress; I am sprung!
