Memories cannot be taken.

by Vonnie McHugh   Sep 30, 2006

How did she cope with the pain,
Very seldom did she complain,
Her life had been so Full,
Infact she was quite cool.

If we were down and feeling sad,
She would do something quite mad,
She had such a wicked laugh,
She never done anything by half.

I watched her drift away,
There was nothing I could do or say,
She left my life so bare,
But in my mind she will always be there.

Please take heed of this,
You never know how much you'll miss,
Make the most of your Mum today,
For all at once they are taken away.
