Just Another Dream

by buffduff   Sep 30, 2006

Sitting on that park bench
Just the two of us
I could stay here forever,
Being perfectly happy.

People pass us by,
Looking and whispering,
But none of them matter,
With you by my side.

I don't want this kiss to ever end,
Gentle lips pushing together,
Expressing our love,
To all who care to look.

Eventually you pull away,
Disappear into the myst,
Then starts the rain,
This world just turned dark

And now I'm all alone
In a world gone cold,
But it doesn't last,
As my beeping alarm calls.

In that moment I realise,
How again I dreamed of you,
No matter how I try not too,
My mind just keeps taunting me.
