Why am I trying to hold on to something that not there
why do I still have feelings for you it's pretty unfair
we don't talk anymore and it's driving me insane
but when I pick up the phone and call it's just not the same
I remember when would talk for hours on the phone
I remember that I never use to spend any weekends alone
now I sit here and wonder what did I do wrong?
was it me this time or did you have problems of your own
I told you when we started I was scared to get hurt
then we broke up and that what made it worse
I still feel that we are truly meant to be
but I got to build a bridge and get over it
because you don't feel the same for me
