When I Saw The Light

by Daz Mellow   Oct 1, 2006

I have been living a lie.
And it kills me inside.
I lay awake at night.
Going over somethings I have done that was not right.
It makes me fret.
Doing things that I would regret.
It messed up my life.
Stabbed me like a knife.
So I lay here tonight.
Waiting for the light.

As I ponder through the darkness.
Wondering why my life is so restless.
I came to a mid-stop.
The little voice in my head said not to fear and hold on for dear life.
You can not turn back time and erase mistakes that you have made.
You make up for it by doing what is right.
And that’s when I saw the light.
