Nan

She told me once to never change
Stay who I am and Ill be happy
Today, Tomorrow and forever
I know she'll be looking down on me
From the heavens above
She has left footprints in my heart
She is my Nan and I love her dearly
I remember so many amazing things about her
Especially her touch it was as soft as the cool ocean breeze
And her personality was as warm as the early morning sun
The memories I have of her are strong
And will remain strong in my heart for as long as I live
It is like she is my guardian angel
showing me the way
As she said there is always a light at the end of a tunnel
And i believe her, one day that light will lead me to her
To me, she is my Nan whether she is here or not
She will always be my Nan!

And her smell was a delightful scented rose
I hear my Nan's name when the wind blows around me
