End of the world

by steffff   Oct 1, 2006

The reaper dances with our souls
The fire burns the frozen coals
Fish shall swim in the blood of men
Anti Christ was born again
Shackled, beaten, humans cry
Grinning demons fly up high.
Engulfed in darkness, the world will fall
Until our creator will come for us all
Hells Fire burns the blood red sky
The human race has begun to die

Brillaint! I loved this poem. It was short, but I think it wsa the perfect length. If it was much longer, it may have taken something away from it. I can't really pin-point what it was that made this poem so great. It could have been the flow, the rhyming, the depth, the imagination, the creativity, or even just the fact that it was well written. Anyway, point it. I loved every second of it, and I was upset when it ended, but I think that was a good thing. You should always leave them wanting more as the saying goes. My favorite line was the first one 'The reaper dances with our souls'.

P.S. Thanks for your comment on my poem 'Kitty and his crew', I'm glad you liked it. Comments, good or bad, are always welcome...though I prefer them to be good, lol.

P.P.S. You such a better writer than me, but don't let anyone I said that, lol.
