Holding On

by TheRevelation   Oct 2, 2006

Tears of black cascade down my face,
Staining my face never could you be replaced,
Heart broken while the feeling wont go away,
I want to be able to go back to yesterday,

You were my first love my one and only,
And without you I will always be lonely,
Loving you is like a non stop waterfall,
My love for you will never be that small,

I have to hold on to you forever or I might forget,
But as each day brings another sunset,
I still cant let go of your face or touch,
So until I am with you I cant stop loving you this much,

Looks like another sunset at dawn,
So to another day of holding on.

I love this poem, because it's very true in real like. It's really hard to let go of your first true love and some people find it harder than others. Great poem! 5/5 Keep it up!
