everone thought they wanted to be you
then i became the person everone wanted to be
then everything changed

when you were with them
you were not even the same
i lost my best friend
i never thought i would happen to me
even thoughthey told me it would
i thought i loved you
and i thought you loved me
well i guess we were both wrong

now everyone hates you
i hope this is what you wanted
now it is unchangeable
