October lift

by Destiny   Oct 3, 2006

Autumn\\\'s cherished
trees delicately
speckled with gold.

The wind wisps through
my hair, angels wings to
the touch.Lost in thoughts
of what stories it has to
hold.

While the season prevails
the sun kindly gives a
nod as he prepares his
winter slumber. Among
the stars scattered so
neat.

Children, and lovers
stroll through the town
as the crisp sun kissed leaves dance along their
feet.

You stop to wonder why
god created three other
seasons when fall is sufficient
to brighten any heart thats
in need of a
mend.

But like love,
like life,
like rain,
like time all things must come to an end..
