The Disdained Rose

by Cromulent1   Oct 3, 2006

Roses are always thought of
As majestic and beautiful
But this rose lacks quality.
Its pedals are dull and warped,
The stem is bent out of shape,
And its thorns are razor sharp.
This is not a beautiful rose.
While all the other roses are picked and taken,
This rose remains in its place.
Unlike the others
It will never enter a florist,
Nor will it ever see a vase,
Instead this rose remains,
For time to take.
