Emotional Puppetry

by Kajataya   Oct 3, 2006

I play you like fine music
Easily fingering the strings of your emotions
Pulling at the stitches of your mind
And unravel your insides until you barely recognise what is left.

I toy with your thoughts and plant seeds of me
Letting you think that each thought is your own
Allowing you to believe I am an angel in your world
All the while slowly eating away at the foundations of your being.

So easy it is to bring you down
Your trust placed within my hands crumbling to dust
My laughter sweetly soft as I watch you break into pieces
My personal puzzle to raze and ravage.

I marvel at your naivety
The promise of me seems ineluctable to you
And I have won my plaything with the simplest of weapons
Now tossing you aside like so much refuse.

For you see dear friend
I have won this artless battle and my curiosity is played out
My merriment has ended now and your failure is my ultimate accolade
I possess you, I dominate you, I win.

My conquest.
