We're now further apart
And yet you feel so much closer to my heart

This is getting insane
There is in my heart no more questioning
Wether or not this is just a fling
For the way I feel about you is way stronger
And reminds me of a familiar behavior
Which is to be barely able to control my anticipation
For with you I have high expectations
I don't wanna frighten you but
I've just got this feeling in the gut
That you're so ever special
Maybe even marriage material
Of course we're not there yet
But if I had to make a sure bet
I'd say that you and I
Won't fall shy
Of a great love story
I guess we'll just have to wait and see
As if God was directly talking to me
I get this incredible confidence within me
That it's all gonna work out
Cause for me there is no more doubt
That we should be together
For I've been so much happier
Ever since I started seeing you
It's like you redefined me too
I feel complete in the thought of us getting together
When I'll finally be able to come over
Everything seems to be falling into place
Like all of this has been planned to this specific pace
It might seem sometimes a bit too fast
But I'm confident that it's still meant to last
I don't believe we're just rushing into things
But just trusting our feelings
Wherever they may lead us we should follow
For this is how life should go
Trust your instincts
Instead of just surviving in a couple that stinks
I've always thought that Chloe would be
The best I could ever get for me
So I stayed and tried to make it work
But it was all in vain cause she was acting like a dork
But now that I found you I realize
That I've been believing in so many lies
Which were basically that I didn't deserve any better
And that's why I felt kinda compelled to stay with her
Even though my feelings had died
A year earlier but still I was tied
To the memory
Of all our history.
